They will leverage their production and creative design knowledge to streamline the transition from design to production and translate approved designs into unique dieline shapes. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.\nResponsibilities\nAdapt design to create accurate and high-quality consistent ranges in line with strategic direction.\nFull understanding of key clients, projects, and their guidelines. Leads larger ranges. Ensuring consistency across full project.\nWork closely with the Account Team to ensure they have what they need on projects.\nProactively engage with wider creative teams to understand ongoing projects. Creates strong and effective internal partnerships with client services and production.\nAbility to creatively adapt design concepts to new and different die lines.\nBuilds clean and accurate files with an understanding of print process, font and color usage. Ensures packaging designs comply with industry regulations and standards, including labeling requirements.\nEngaging ideas and solutions that keep the brand guidelines intact and maintain the design direction.\nResource to the client service team as project or range guardian.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nDirect Reports\nThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports\nIndirect Reports\nDoes not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports.\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation Level: Bachelor’s degree\nExperience Requirements: 3-5 years experience in production for packing, experience working in a design agency focusing on package design, advanced knowledge of production file building and printing capabilities, strong knowledge of FDA guidelines and implementation, and expert knowledge of Adobe Suite programs.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nEvidence of proficient understanding of print processes and methods.\nAbility to understand and deliver brief requirements.\nStrong typographic ability.\nBuild and deliver Equator presentations including awards and content for internal communications and social media.\nIs an effective team member; supports the team through knowledge in category, creative and production, continual learning.\nAbility to communicate and listen and value the opinions and direction of others.\nMentor colleagues in the understanding of brand history and guidelines.\nPlan & Align – Takes ownership of personal actions and outcomes and daily deadlines provided by Traffic Manager.\nAdditional Information Regarding Job Duties and Job Descriptions\nAdditional Information Regarding Job Duties and Job Descriptions\nJob duties include additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department.
