The selected candidate will design, implement, automate, and sustain enterprise cloud solutions across AWS and Azure environments in support of mission-critical infrastructure and applications.\n\nThe ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, security, and operational support within complex enterprise environments. This is a Tier 3 engineering role requiring advanced troubleshooting, architectural input, and technical leadership across cloud operations initiatives.\n\n*Tentative end date for the Position: November 30, 2026 with possible extension to May 2027*\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments\nDeploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using automation and orchestration tools\nSupport enterprise cloud modernization initiatives, including migration of on-premises services and workloads to cloud environments\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, and application issues\nCollaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and architecture teams to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise standards and mission requirements\nContribute to cloud architecture design efforts supporting scalable, resilient, and highly available environments\nImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows\nEnforce cloud security best practices and compliance requirements, including alignment with DoD and Federal cybersecurity frameworks\nMonitor cloud environments for performance, availability, optimization, and cost efficiency improvements\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering standards\nSupport continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience across the DES environment\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operations personnel as needed\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nSecret clearance required for role.\nIAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or appropriate DoDM 8570 Baseline Certification) is required\nBachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree\nHands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure environments\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation\nExperience implementing automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Azure Functions, or similar technologies\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies\nUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM/ICAM) technologies including Azure AD, Okta, CyberArk, or similar platforms\nStrong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud security principles\nFamiliarity with Federal Government cybersecurity and compliance frameworks including NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA\nExperience supporting production enterprise environments in an operations and maintenance capacity\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in distributed technical teams\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nIndustry cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent\nExperience supporting DISA or DoD enterprise environments\nFamiliarity with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise migrations or hybrid cloud environments\nKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift\n\nSalary Range: $60,000 to $88,000\n\nThe compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range Diné Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws.
