Be part of something greater. Your career awaits…join us!\n\nSheridan MN is looking for a mechanically inclined, detailed oriented individual to join our team as a Folder Operator. In this vital role, you will be a key player on our 3rd shift - performing a variety of tasks surrounding the set-up and operation of a folding machine that folds sheets of paper into 4, 8, 12, 16 and 32-page sections.\nDuties/Responsibilities: \nSet up machine and perform quality folding that meets expectations.\nLoad sheets into machine and stack signatures; pull skids in and out of work area.\nRead and understand work order verifying correct bind type, bulk, trim size, margins and run lengths.\nUnderstand signatures, substrates, bulk, PPI, sig size, trim size, and specified margins.\nTroubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.\nAssist maintenance personnel with machine repair.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED required.\nSix (6) months of manufacturing or related experience.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to read, do basic math and work with basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, etc.)\nAbility to read a ruler and understand/use metric system.\nMechanical aptitude with the ability to do basic trouble shooting when the equipment is not functioning.\nAbility to work with the following tools or machinery:\nMicrometers\nCalipers Scales\nPallet jack and lift\nMeasuring device\nRetractable Knife\nScraper\nWrenches\nAir hose\nHand tools\nAbility to meet deadlines and work overtime and other shifts required.\nPrompt and reliable attendance required.\nMust be able to understand verbal and written instructions and write in English.\nPhysical Requirements:\nWork is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals\nSafety toe shoes required\nHearing protection required\nMust be able to stand/work 8 hours with overtime hours as needed\nAbility to lift, carry, push and/or pull 25lbs. on a regular basis\nCJK Group is an Equal Opportunity employer.
