You will work closely with analysts and technical stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective database solutions capable of handling terabytes of data.\n,\nRequired Skills\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nWrite, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug SQL stored procedures.\nCollaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate data collection requirements into implementable database solutions.\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries operating against terabytes of data.\nDesign and maintain database tables with clear schemas, appropriate indexing, and logical partitioning.\nAnalyze data sources for accuracy, prioritization, and applicability to mission requirements.\nApply appropriate data logic and database development practices to support reliable and scalable solutions.\nTroubleshoot database issues and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and accessibility.\nCollaborate effectively with technical teams and mission stakeholders across multiple communication channels.\nSupport database operations within Linux-based environments.\n,\nDesired Skills\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n7+ years of professional experience with database management and SQL.\nStrong experience with PostgreSQL.\nDemonstrated experience translating data collection requirements into practical, implementable database solutions.\nExperience optimizing SQL queries and database performance at enterprise scale, including environments containing terabytes of data.\nStrong understanding of database schema design, indexing, and logical partitioning.\nStrong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to design solutions and troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nExperience analyzing data sources for accuracy, prioritization, and appropriate application of data logic.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nLinux experience.\nActive TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.\nAbility to work fully onsite in Herndon, VA.\n,\nAdditional Details\n\nAt WarCollar Industries, we bring together talented professionals to solve challenging problems in support of critical national security missions.
