commercial vehicles.\n\nThe engineer will work primarily with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, CAN communication, and vehicle controllers to develop vehicle functions, integrate new components, troubleshoot issues, and support software releases across multiple vehicle platforms.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop embedded control software using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow.\nDevelop and maintain software for vehicle controllers including VCU and body control systems.\nImplement vehicle functions such as:\nVehicle startup and shutdown\nTorque control\nRegenerative braking\nDrive mode logic\nCharging control\nThermal system control\nInterlocks and safety monitoring\nBody and auxiliary functions\nDevelop and maintain CAN communication interfaces.\nIntegrate new components including:\nInverters\nMotors\nBattery management systems\nChargers and EVCCs\nDC/DC converters\nThermal controllers\nSmart PDUs\nBody controllers\nSupport implementation and integration of EV charging functionality.\nSupport DIN 70121, ISO 15118-2, ISO 15118-20, and V2G development as required.\nDevelop CAN signals, diagnostic messages, DTCs, and DIDs.\nAnalyze CAN logs and vehicle data to troubleshoot software and system issues.\nSupport vehicle testing and software validation.\nDevelop configurable software that can support multiple vehicle platforms.\nMaintain software versions, calibration files, and release documentation.\nSupport engineering, production, service, and supplier teams with software-related issues.\nParticipate in vehicle commissioning and prototype development.\nSupport software flashing, configuration, and diagnostic tools.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.\nExperience or coursework involving embedded systems, controls, or automotive software.\nExperience with MATLAB/Simulink and/or Stateflow.\nUnderstanding of CAN communication.\nProgramming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar languages.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nAbility to work with both software and physical vehicle systems.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience developing embedded software for automotive applications.\nKnowledge of electric vehicle powertrain systems.\nExperience with CAN, CANalyzer, or similar CAN tools.\nFamiliarity with UDS diagnostics.\nExperience with model-based development and automatic code generation.\nFamiliarity with charging systems and ISO 15118.\nExperience with version control systems such as Git.\nFamiliarity with functional safety concepts.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n\nVehicle software is stable, configurable, and maintainable across multiple platforms.\nNew vehicle components can be integrated without creating platform-specific software unnecessarily.\nSoftware issues are diagnosed efficiently using CAN and vehicle
