Lead the penetration testing engagement planning process from a technical perspective, to include conducting scoping, defining objectives, negotiating rules of engagement, testing, reporting and executive communications. This role will support manual Penetration Testing of Centene's internal environment including Web Applications and API's.\nLead the pen testing engagement planning process, to include conducting scoping and negotiating rules of engagement.\nOversee and lead the day-to-day execution of penetration tests.\nAssess results of penetration tests and quantify cyber risks. Develop and present relevant, timely, and detailed technical reports for internal technical customers.\nDevelop and deliver penetration test executive reports.\nParticipate in the penetration testing team’s customer outreach program to develop and strengthen relationships with other technical teams within the cyber defense organization.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nComplies with all policies and standards.\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.\n4+ years of experience in relevant penetration testing roles.\nDemonstrated familiarity with current cyber security trends, technologies, and attacks; understanding of routing, remote access, proxies, firewalls, TCP/IP, email gateways/filters, encryption, network scanning, packet sniffing and injection, advanced network reconnaissance, persistence techniques, and wireless network exploitation concepts; remote and local exploitation techniques; security evasion techniques; social engineering techniques, proficiency in programming languages (python, go, ruby, etc.), native terminals (bash, PowerShell, etc.).\nExperience with Pen Testing tools such as ffuf, Sqlmap, nmap, Wireshark, Postman, and Kali Linux.\n\nLicense/Certification:\nCEH, OSCP certification, or relevant cybersecurity certification preferred\nPay Range: $103,500.00 - $191,600.00 per year\nCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
