As the main client-facing representative of the Club SciKidz brand, the Area Director is expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, positivity, and leadership at all times.\nKey Responsibilities\nOne of the most important aspects of this position is inventory management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nManaging and tracking inventory at the warehouse\nTransporting supplies to and from camp locations\nPerforming heavy lifting as needed for inventory movement\nTransferring materials between camp sites\nDriving a U-Haul van or truck to transport inventory to various locations in Richmond and Northern Virginia\nKeeping inventory records accurate and up to date\nTracking rental laptops, iPads, and other technology throughout the season\nCoordinating with Site Directors to manage leftover inventory at the end of each camp week\nAt the end of each week of camp, the Area Director will be responsible for leading and coordinating with Site Directors to sort through remaining supplies. This includes discarding trash, salvaging usable supplies, packing materials, and transporting them back to the warehouse. This process is essential to keeping the warehouse organized and in good condition throughout the summer and ensuring that inventory is properly accounted for by the end of the season.\nWork Locations\nThe primary work locations will include:\nRichmond-area camp sites\nClub SciKidz warehouse in Oilville, VA\nNorthern Virginia camp locations, as needed\nThe Area Director will be required to make several trips to Northern Virginia at the start of the camp season to drop off inventory. After the initial bulk delivery, the Area Director may need to drive to Northern Virginia approximately once per week to deliver any missed or additional supplies.\nWork Weeks\nThe expected work weeks are:\nJune 1–5\nJune 8–12\nJune 15–19\nJune 22–26\nJuly 6–10\nJuly 13–17\nJuly 20–24\nJuly 27–31\nThere is also a possibility of starting during the last week of May and continuing through the first week of August, depending on program needs.\nPay\nWeekly pay will be $600 per week, based on $20 per hour for an estimated 30 hours per week.\nThe weeks of June 1–5 and August 3–8, if worked, will be paid based on actual hours worked.
