Organizing Logistics Assistant Position Overview The Organizing Logistics Assistant is the backbone of our Organizing team. You handle the physical execution that brings our designs to life, like heavy lifting, hauling, packing, setup, breakdown, and all the logistics that allow our Organizing Assistants and Organizing Manager to focus on detailed organizing work. This role is a fit for someone with a background in moving, logistics, warehouse, or similar physical work who takes pride in doing hard work well, anticipates what the team needs, and is a reliable, respectful presence in a client's home. What You Will Do Logistics & Physical Execution Handle all heavy lifting, carrying, and moving of furniture, boxes, and bulk items during projects Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely Haul trash, donations, and discarded items off site to the appropriate destination Coordinate deliveries and manage on-site logistics throughout the project day Break down boxes, disassemble and reassemble furniture, and handle other physical setup and teardown tasks Clean up work areas throughout the day and at project completion Organizing Support Pack, unpack, and handle client belongings with care and attention to placement Execute parts of the organizing plan under the direction of the Organizing team Do things The Neatly Way with precision, care, and excellence in everything you touch Team Support & Initiative Take clear direction from Organizing Assistants and the Organizing Manager and adjust quickly when priorities shift Anticipate what the team needs next, empty bins, fresh supplies, cleared space, a second set of hands, and act without being asked Solve problems independently when you can, and flag them when you cannot Keep a steady, focused pace throughout the day Client Presence & Care Work respectfully and professionally in client homes Protect client property with care during every move Maintain a clean, uncluttered work area Represent Neatly with professionalism in every client interaction Who Will Thrive In This Role You are strong, reliable, and take pride in hard work done well. You have done physical work before, like moving, delivery, warehouse, construction, or similar and you know how to carry, lift, pack, and haul without damaging what you are moving or the spaces you are moving through. You show up on time, ready to work, every day. You take direction well from the Organizing Assistants and Organizing Manager, and you are also the kind of person who sees what needs to happen and does it without waiting to be asked. You speak up when you see a problem, and you never leave a teammate hanging. You are respectful in client homes. You protect what is around you, clean up after yourself, and represent Neatly well in every interaction, even when you are not the one doing the talking. Required Qualifications One or more years of experience in moving, delivery, warehouse, construction, or similar physical work Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and work on feet for full workdays Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team Ability to work independently when needed and anticipate team needs Attention to detail and care in handling client belongings Professional demeanor appropriate for work in client homes Schedule flexibility for project work Preferred Qualifications Professional moving company experience Knowledge of packing and moving best practices Fluent in English What Success Looks Like Heavy lifting, hauling, and logistics are handled efficiently on every project Organizing Assistants and Manager can focus on their work because you are handling yours Client homes and property are protected and respected throughout every project Trash, donations, and removed items are cleared cleanly and on time Work areas are kept clean and organized as the project progresses You execute parts of the organizing plan with precision when asked You are reliable, consistent, and easy to work with All project hours are accurately documented and billable Compensation & Schedule This is an hourly position based in Houston. Projects are typically scheduled for three to four days per week, though hours vary based on project workload and client needs. Most work hours are billable to client projects. Hourly rates are competitive and based on experience. Schedule flexibility is required.
