Job Description Location: Troy Position Type: Locum | Full-Time | Physician - Psychiatry Overview A well-established hospital-based behavioral health program in Troy, NY is seeking 2 Full-Time Locum Psychiatrists for their Adult Inpatient Unit . This is an excellent opportunity to join a structured team with strong security support and an efficient credentialing process. Practice Highlights • General Adult Behavioral Health Unit - 30 beds (15 PPD per provider) • Total inpatient capacity: 63 beds • Inpatient team: 3 physicians (plus 2 locum openings) • Outpatient team at full staffing: 5 physicians + 1 APP • EMR: EPIC • 24/7 on-site security and strong safety protocols • Child evaluations only in crisis unit during weekend call (if admitted, transferred to adolescent facility) Candidate Requirements • Board Certified - REQUIRED • ACLS - REQUIRED • Active New York License at time of submission - REQUIRED • Clean background (quick credentialing) - REQUIRED • Must be available Full-Time - REQUIRED • Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within same month of submission) - REQUIRED Schedule & Coverage • Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM • Call Rotation: 1:4 • Credentialing timeline: ASAP Why Troy, NY?
