Develop innovative solutions to optimize structural integrity and performance.\n\nDesign and optimize steel structures, including trusses, frames, and other load-bearing elements, with a strong emphasis on efficiency, durability, and safety.\n\nAnalyze existing structures for new loads and provide recommendations for strengthening where required.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations while producing comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and drawings.\n\nUtilize AutoCAD and Revit software proficiently for modeling, drafting, and detailing structural designs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs seamlessly into larger facility plans.\n\nApply established design techniques and exercises discernment in adapting and modifying design concepts as needed. Uphold quality control by adhering to company and team design and CAD standards.\n\nWill work with Sr. Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders on specific assigned objectives, complex features, and aid in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.\n\nFoster collaboration, communication, strategy, and support within your team, multidisciplinary groups (Electrical, Mechanical, Process/Chemical, Architectural, etc.), and inter-company teams to optimize efficiency, quality, and resource allocation.\n\nPerform field verifications / site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. May troubleshoot design problems in the field during construction.\n\nQualifications\n\nA Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution, qualifying for professional engineer (PE) licensure in the state of practice, is required.\n\nPreference will be given to candidates who hold a Professional Engineering (PE) license. This credential may qualify candidates for the higher end of the salary range, depending on experience and overall qualifications.\n\nExtensive knowledge of structural analysis techniques and principles.\n\nStrong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.\n\nExperience with structural analysis software such as RISA.\n\nProficient in AutoCAD and Revit for structural engineering deliverables, including 3D modeling and drafting for structural systems is required.\n\nExperience performing field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages.
