The ideal candidate will possess expertise in systems modeling, analysis, and integration, contributing to cutting-edge defense technologies.\n\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to complex defense programs where systems engineering, digital modeling, and mission-focused solutions are critical to success.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models using SysML and industry-standard modeling tools.\n\nDevelop system architectures, functional and behavioral models, interfaces, and requirements.\n\nTranslate customer needs into system-level requirements and engineering solutions.\n\nSupport requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability, verification, and validation.\n\nSupport systems engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle.\n\nCollaborate with software, hardware, test, program management, and other engineering disciplines.\n\nSupport technical reviews, including requirements reviews and design reviews.\n\nMaintain model consistency, configuration management, and engineering documentation.\n\nAnalyze system architectures and interfaces to identify technical risks and opportunities.Present technical information and systems engineering products to customers and program leadership.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.\n\n3+ years of systems engineering or MBSE experience, depending on education and experience level.\n\nHands-on experience with MBSE methodologies and SysML.\n\nExperience with MBSE modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.\n\nExperience with requirements development, management, and traceability.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.\n\nU.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting DoD programs.\n\nExperience with DOORS or other requirements management tools.\n\nFamiliarity with the Systems Engineering V-Model and system development lifecycle.\n\nKnowledge of DoD acquisition processes and systems engineering standards.\n\nExperience with architecture frameworks such as DoDAF or UAF.\n\nINCOSE certification or other systems engineering certification.\n\nMaster's degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical field.\n\nExperience supporting technical reviews, verification and validation, or test planning.\n\nNavigator is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
