2930 Grace Lane, Suite F Costa Mesa, CA 92626 baker/ cake decorator job description job description: as the baker and cake decorating assistant you will be a vital roll in production each week. this position requires attention to detail, the ability to work at a fast but efficient pace, and flexibility in your job duties. job duties: shop for groceries track needed supplies unload and put away groceries keep ingredient buckets clean and full make all cakes, cupcakes, and desserts properly record recipe quantities and helpful hints for baking make product to order and fulfill all orders for the week properly package and label items per order clean equipment, dishes, and work station monitor baking time so as not to burn product be careful when measuring ingredients as to not be wasteful or make mistakes make fillings and icings for the week discard outdated product keep fridges clean and organized split and fill cakes make tasting sample kits ice cakes, kitchen cakes and anniversary cakes fill and ice cupcakes when needed and available deliver cakes keep kitchen and work stations clean and organized pack up pedestals for orders clean and put away returned cake pedestals make fondant decor decorate custom and wedding cakes make cake boards these are just examples of the tasks that are required with this position. other tasks may be asked of you as needed and tasks will vary week to week Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Flexible schedule Job-related location requirement: Candidates must be within a 25-mile radius.
