For more information, visit [corporate.carrier.com](https://www.carrier.com/) or follow on Carrier social media at @Carrier.\n\nAbout this role\n\nIn this role as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you’ll be an integral member of the Indianapolis Carrier Excellence (Cx) Team and work alongside industrial engineers, operations, and manufacturing engineers to identify, implement, and sustain process improvements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nApply Cx Operating System, focusing on Goal Deployment, Daily Management, and Problem Solving\nUtilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive best class processes while working to become a recognized Cx Practitioner\nDrive measurable improvements that support goals for safety, customer, delivery, cost and productivity.\nAnalyze demand and model mix to optimize product flow through fabrication and multiple assembly lines\nAnalyze current processes to identify and remove waste and reduce process variation\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree\n2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or manufacturing operations.\n2+ years of experience applying Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAnalytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities\nUnderstanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles and systems thinking to effectively lead the projects and process improvement initiatives\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment\nDemonstrated analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills\nMicrosoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint\nEffective at working with stakeholders at all organization levels\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas simply\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple priorities gracefully under pressure\nDemonstrated leadership and motivation in a complex work environment\nProject management skills and comfortable communicating at all levels of management and with external customers and suppliers\nHighly motivated, organized and flexible individual that is customer and results focused\nPay Range\n\nThe annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually.
