The ideal candidate is a technical expert and practicing environmental professional who can build lasting client relationships, manage teams, and serve as a strategic leader in private-sector remediation projects.\r\nThe Role Serve as a trusted advisor and technical lead for clients in the private sector (developers, attorneys).\r\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities\r\nLead and mentor junior and mid-level staff.\r\nOversee operations in collaboration with regional leadership.\r\nProvide direction on regulatory strategies and field execution.\r\nWho are you 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with an emphasis in remediation, due diligence, or site redevelopment.\r\nDemonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.\r\nTrack record of building and sustaining client relationships, with a proactive and consultative approach.\r\nDeep technical knowledge in California regulatory frameworks (e.g., DTSC, RWQCB, LARWQCB) and private-sector project delivery.\r\nEntrepreneurial mindset with the drive to shape a regional office's success through client development and leadership.\r\nStrong communication, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative leadership style aligned with Terraphase's culture.\r\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.\r\nCompensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location.\r\nPay Range\r\n$145,000 - $200,000 USD\r\nWho We Are We are an environmental consulting company that offers cost-effective solutions to complex environmental and engineering challenges.
