Director of Sales

Drift Net is looking for a skilled and strategic Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing effective sales strategies, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with key clients. This role demands exceptional leadership abilities, a thorough understanding of market dynamics, and a proven history of achieving sales objectives. Roles Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to meet or exceed company revenue targets. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty. Collaborate with marketing and engineering to align sales strategies with overall business goals. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to Leadership. Conduct regular training and development sessions for the sales team to enhance skills and knowledge. Fostering a culture of accountability and high performance within the sales team. Implement and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports. Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify pricing strategies and development of sales promotions. Assessing sales volume and profitability for both existing and new products. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience in sales leadership roles, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
