We leverage our programs, our partnerships, and our collective voice to foster equity, compassion, and community engagement by creating housing, education, and economic opportunities.Position SummaryAs part of the Leased Housing team, the Program Representative provides information and assistance to leased housing program participants and owners concerning eligibility and program requirements, the provision of services, and benefit administration. The position maintains a client caseload and the corresponding documentation in compliance with program regulations. The position supports the mission and objectives of the Leased Housing program through the delivery of professional and knowledgeable services to the community.Essential Functions And Responsibilities Communicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle any concernsScreen client inquiries for eligibilityCheck to ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve client concerns:Re-certifications/Lease-upsAnnual and interim income adjustmentsChanges in family composition/Change of addressMove-outs/Transfers/InspectionsMaintain client caseload as well as appropriate documentation ensuring compliance with program regulationsExplain program requirements, regulations and procedures to applicants, participants and ownersUphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, CompassionThe duties listed above are representative of the work performed. Other related duties may be assigned.QualificationsHS Diploma or Equivalent EducationFamiliarity with computers and data entryExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage on-going projects concurrentlyProficiency in math, Microsoft Office or similar technologySensitivity to the needs of diverse, low income populations. Demonstrated ability to handle emotionally stressful situations and manage conflictAbility to manage several tasks at onceStrong interpersonal, verbal, written, and negotiation skillsEffective customer service, interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain confidentiality.
