Operations Engineer

Role Description Workarea is growing and so is our operations team. We're looking for someone with automation, scripting and cloud experience. This person will have a large role in implementing and managing our infrastructure and workflows. We use Chef, Ruby, Kubernetes (k8s) and AWS but we're more concerned with someone that understands the concepts of cloud computing and configuration management. We're looking for someone who likes solving problems and isn't afraid to dig in and get things done. We are a small team that works very closely together and we'd love to talk to you about joining us. Requirements The ideal candidate would have at least 2+ years of experience with most of the following: Linux, primarily Ubuntu Infrastructure Automation (Opscode Chef) Amazon Web Services Google Kubernetes (k8s) Database and caching technologies (MongoDB, Redis) Elastic Search Logging, Monitoring, Reporting and Alerting (Logstash, Grafana, Prometheus, APM) Programming and Scripting experience (Ruby, Python) A few of our benefits...
