Operating Room Technician

Operating Room Technician Full Time, Day Shift Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs specific assigned duties in providing patient care in accordance with established SRH and Nursing Services Policies and Standard Work. Functions in a supportive role to communicate patient care needs and resolve work-related issues. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Department Director. Has the ability to learn the technical aspects and maintenance of various operating room equipment; successful orientation to hospital OR role and completion of first 90 days of employment; selectively appropriates equipment for surgical procedures; assists in the assembly, preparation and positioning of perioperative equipment for surgical procedures.
