Our Dallas Warehouse is looking for a Driver to load and unload a delivery vehicle at the distribution center and at the delivery site.How You will HelpOperate a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and prepare material/documentation for deliveries.Operate a forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker, and other loading/stacking equipment at warehouse and off-site during deliveriesOperate vehicles in compliance with all DOT and Reliable safety requirementsMaintains daily truck inspection and daily trip reports as required by USDOTLoad and unload trucks in accordance with DOT Load Securement requirementsPerform pre- and post- trip inspections and logsCheck tires when loading and unloading trucksComplete and maintain daily forklift inspection reportsReport any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse SupervisorAct as backup and/or fill-in Material Handler as neededAssist Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful mannerReport backorders to Customer Service DepartmentPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.Perform other duties as directedWhat You Will BringHigh School Diploma6+ months of warehouse experienceMinimum of 6 months CDL Class B delivery driving experienceWork in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environmentWork at heights of 30 feet or moreDrive lift trucks, side loaders, pickers, pallet trucks, and other loading/stacking equipmentBe punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basisWear appropriate safety clothing (safety harness, glasses, belts, etc.) and steel toe shoes when neededStand for 80% of the timeLift large materials not to exceed 70 poundsJob BenefitsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and FSA are available 30 days following your start date401k with company match is available after 90 days of employmentCompany-provided Life Insurance is provided for you 1st of the month after 90 days of employment3 PTO days after 60 days of employment (hourly and non-exempt positions only)2 weeks of vacation after 6 months of employment10 paid holidays - including your birthday!Paid weekly
