We’d love to hear from you.About The PositionAs a Director in this team your primary responsibility will be ongoing management of the Project Finance loan portfolio, with an emphasis on credit monitoring, analytics and internal reporting. You will have portfolio management responsibilities for a portfolio of project finance loans. This is a leadership position and will require coordination between sector specialists, offshore portfolio support teams, risk management and junior members of the team.About The DepartmentThis role is a manager of a team that comprises the critical portfolio management and reporting foundation of all lending origination and underwriting activity.ResponsibilitiesActively manage all facets of the daily operations of the identified portfolio, including but not limited to:Routinely analyze the credit migration trends of the portfolio and individual names;Idea generation for value added cross buy or client opportunities;Quarterly and annual credit reviews;Prepare quarterly Credit Risk Management (“CRM”) portfolio reviews;Process amendment and waiver requests, write or review credit modifications, submit to risk and address Q&A, follow-up on the required legal amendments to the documentation until execution;Track compliance of financial covenants and other reporting covenants such as construction/ operating reports, insurance, etc.;Review annual risk rating updates prepared by an administrative support team;Oversee and prepare collateral monitoring reports;Prepare and maintain reports as requested by regulators, rating agencies and other external parties;Maintain various department and industry databases/trackers;Maintain internal portfolio tracking metrics;Respond to ad hoc internal requests on portfolio composition and exposure;Coordinate and work with offshore portfolio support teams;Diligent and proactive credit monitoring through the review of all covenanted financial and project information (e.g. financial models, Borrower and Adviser operational / construction progress reports) as well as compliance with all regular reporting activities in line with the bank’s policy and proceduresOversee multiple PMs on a project-basis to ensure proper training and development to ensure the success of efforts within their remitResponsible for the accurate internal system processing (Vantage) including GRID, FINAN, TSC, Risk RaterInterface with relationship managers and sector specialists to ensure an active dialogue on credit trends, challenges and opportunities with individual borrowersMonitor and identify market developments and proactively manage their potential impact on the portfolioSupport Team Lead and coordinate between Portfolio Management/ Origination in order to ensure timely and accurate response to internal (CAS) and external regulatory controls and audits by providing the required insights, reports and samples and by participating in the dialogue if so requestedStay up to date on organizational operating policies and procedures (i.e. Risk, Legal, etc.) to ensure appropriate protocols are implemented and followed, and facilitate accordinglyImplementation of strategic initiatives, including enhancements to the credit monitoring process to improve business efficiencyIdentify productivity trends across the Front Office organization and use insights from reporting to create and drive efficient processes and improve productivityEnsure an excellent level of service and high-quality outputImplement transformation projectsCoordinate with KYC/CDD teamManage lending limits and Capital Velocity programsQualifications And CompetenciesBA/BS in finance/economics/accounting/management/engineering (or similar); CFA a plusMinimum of 8 years of relevant experience specifically within Project Finance.5-8 years in TMT, Infrastructure Financing and/or Energy is preferred.At least 2 years of management experience.Strong financial and credit analysis capabilitiesStrong financial modeling capabilities Excellent presentation and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing prioritiesCommitted and dedicated individual who will continuously improve the way the team worksSelf-motivated and willing to work in a deal oriented and deadline driven environmentExperience taking internal credit approval processes from start to finishExcellent understanding of GAAP accounting statements & principlesStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanorAbility to work under pressure and set the right priorities in a dynamic, challenging and international environmentUnderstanding of risks associated with project financeKnowledge of Legal DocumentationProficient in MS Excel and WordOtherCase Study including writing sample and a debt modeling testReferencesSalary range: $250,000-300,000The salary range listed reflects base salary only. This role is eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus program.
