Resident Advocate

Senior Living Warriors (Family First Personal Home Care) is seeking a Senior Living Advocate to support and protect older adults living in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on senior living experience who is passionate about dignity, accountability, and resident rights. As an Advocate, you will serve as the eyes, ears, and voice for families who cannot be present every day—ensuring proper care, safety, and respect for their loved ones. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site visits to senior living and skilled nursing facilities Observe resident care, staff responsiveness, hygiene, safety, and environment Review and monitor care plan compliance (non-medical) Document concerns, incidents, and observations clearly and professionally Communicate directly with facility staff and leadership when issues arise Provide written reports and updates to families Attend care conferences as a resident advocate when needed Escalate concerns appropriately while maintaining professionalism Qualifications Background in senior living, skilled nursing, assisted living, social work, or healthcare administration Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills Comfortable advocating firmly and respectfully with facility staff Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally Tech-comfortable (email, reports, basic documentation tools) Preferred (Not Required) Experience in Senior Living Familiarity with resident rights and long-term care regulations Why Join Senior Living Warriors?
