Made Possible.\n\nJob Summary:\nPerform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance, and operations of the Die Cutter.\n\nJob Duties/ Responsibilities:\nMake-ready, adjust, and run job as efficiently as possible to meet safety and productivity standards.\nExamine job order to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications, and special die cutting instructions\nExamine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair minor defects\nMake necessary adjustments to ensure quality\nEnsure information is communicated between shifts\nEnsure Company Safety, Quality, and Production standards are met\nPerform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of Die Cutter\nMaintenance duties include stooping under machinery, entering confined spaces and climbing ladders\nAccurately record production metrics through SAP\nOccasional bending, reaching, twisting and stooping\nOccasional squatting and kneeling for cleaning and clearing jams\n\nJob Requirements/ Qualifications:\nStrong mechanical aptitude/skills\nAbility to work with minimal supervision\nAbility to understand technical written and verbal instructions\nStrong computer and math skills required\nAbility to accurately distinguish color variation\nMust be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as required.\nSolid verbal and written communication skills\nFrequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending and turning\nPrior folding carton experience preferred\n\nGPI’s Benefit Program\nCompetitive Pay\n401(k) w/employer matching\nHealth & Welfare Benefits\nMedical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage\nShort and Long-Term Disability\nLife Insurance\nAccidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance\nFlexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nVarious Voluntary benefits\nAdoption Assistance Program\nEmployee Discount Programs\nEmployee Assistance Program\nTuition Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each year\n\nApplications accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.\n\nGraphic Packaging is an equal opportunity employer and abides by all applicable federal, state provincial and local laws with respect to the recruitment and hiring process.
