Your expertise will be crucial in managing personnel and clearance requirements, managing visitor control, document and correspondence management, Security Awareness Training, and investigating security incidents, all while contributing to the advancement of our projects.What You Will Do On The JobSupport Personnel Security (PERSEC) operations for the facility and organization for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.Security management and operations maintain a secure environment to facilitate the successful development and execution of classified programs at the assigned organization where classified information is stored, accessed, or where accessed personnel are assigned. Enforce strict adherence to applicable laws as well as national DoD, and other security policies and requirements.Visitor Control Create, receive, and transmit Visit Authorization Requests for Government, Military, and Industry personnel.Access Control Manage a cutting-edge Access Control System for both unclassified and classified spaces within mission boundaries.Assist with the preparation of security plans, reviewing applicable guidelines, and established procedures for all areas of security including Personnel Security, Information Security, Physical/Technical Security, Classification Management, Communication Security (COMSEC), and Program Security.Maintain accountability of controlled documents and media to include active inventory lists, destruction receipts and transfer of documentation.Present Security Awareness Training and Education (SATE) briefings.Conduct Security Program Indoctrination Briefings.Investigate security incidents and violations; prepare reports of investigations for the corporation and customers, making specific recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.QualificationsThis is youBachelor’s degree with 10+ years related experience (additional 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree).8+ years of applicable military service.Demonstrated knowledge of National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) / Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) with a focus on ICD 705 series, DoD 5205.07 series, Executive Orders, etc.Experience in managing DD-254s for Government sponsored missions.Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (MSWord, Excel, Power Point).Experience utilizing customer databases such as DISS/JADE/SIMs.Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000.
