Return Staff Policy : RWJBH staff (full time or PRN) must be gone from the RWJBH health system a minimum of 1 year before they are eligible to return for travel assignments. Floating Requirements/Ratios: Candidates are required to float within their skillset, no exceptions. Ratios vary based on census and staffing. When floated, RNs will be assigned a patient ratio based on patient acuity License/Certifications: Active NJ or Compact license is required at time of submission. Submissions: Maximum of 3 submissions per candidate per facility Local Rules : Locals accepted at the same rate. Background Policy : Open/active BG hits and/or License Hits NOT accepted. Compliance : Labs MUST be completed 48 hours of signing. Valid NJ State License or Compact License required for nursing, at time of submission. Failing competency exams require a 6-month break before clinician can re-submit. Certifications are required at time of submission unless otherwise specified and can be obtained prior to start.
