As a Solid Phase Technician you will perform a variety of tasks associated with the manufacturing operations of solid phase plates for Werfen products. Therefore, if you will require sponsorship from us for work authorization now or in the future, we cannot consider your application at this time.\n\nSolid Phase Technician (Manufacturing/Production)\n\nResponsibilities\n\nKey Accountabilities:\n\nPreparing reagents as bulk and for use in Manufacturing processes\nCreating legible written records\nVerifying product produced and labeled accurately\nFollowing appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of dissimilar solid phase components or products\nCalculating accurately solid phase components used, rejected or returned\nFollowing applicable laboratory OSHA safety regulations with respect to chemical hazards, blood-borne pathogens, etc.\nPerforming department and equipment maintenance as well as calibration and environmental monitoring according to applicable procedures\nUnderstanding FDA regulations and ISO standards applicable to department operations and consequences of non-conformance\nMaintaining a neat, clean and orderly work environment\nParticipating in the training of new employees\n\nSolid Phase Technician (Manufacturing/Production)\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:\n\nSpecific qualifications for the Solid Phase Technician position include:\n\nHigh School diploma OR GED, required; Associates Degree in Life Science, Engineering or Automation field, preferred\nExperience working in an aseptic environment is preferred.\nAbility to accommodate production requirements that may require 50+ hour workweeks, including extended day hours and weekends\nAbility to use hands to process product and perform visual inspection of product for defects and correct fill volumes\nAbility to offload products off carts and onto pallets as well as ability to move transfer carts in and out of coolers\nAbility to stand over intervals of several hours at a time\nAbility to stand for longer periods, bend, squat, and reach\nAbility to lift, push or pull various amounts of weight\n\nSolid Phase Technician (Manufacturing/Production)\n\nIf you are interested in constantly learning and being challenged on a daily basis we encourage you to submit your resume or CV.\n\nWerfen is an Equal Opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse workplace.
