The suitable candidate will lead and be accountable for Quality & Reliability for all AMD datacenter CPU products. This is a high visibility role for highly experienced candidates.\nTHE PERSON: Comfortable dealing with cross functional teams within AMD that requires structured problem solving and strong communication skills.\nExperience in structured problem solving is necessary to ask questions in various “core team” meeting setting.\nHighly organized, able to prioritize, and juggle multiple work streams to tight deadlines.\nAbility to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization is expected.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have an excellent understanding of NPI flow to lead cross-functional activities across design, platform, operations, and customer system bring-up and manufacturing to meet product quality and reliability requirements.\nInfluencing Fab and OSAT suppliers to meet product quality requirements including NUDD (New, Unique, Different, Difficult) for future technologies.\nDefine and manage product reliability qualification requirements and activities.\nMeasure and improve outgoing product quality through product end-of-life.\nMaintaining robust Quality Processes & Quality Management Systems.\nClose coordination with product/test engineering team for test gap debug and coverage solution implementation.\nInterface between customer facing Customer Quality Engineering and the internal NPI team.\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in product quality, reliability or product engineering, preferably in semiconductor industry.\nExperience with semiconductor manufacturing and test flow fab, bump, assembly, test.\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or similar.\nLOCATION: Austin, TX #LI-RD1\n#LI-HYBRID\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
