Position Type:Supplemental PayDate Posted:5/22/2026Location:Abraham Lincoln Elementary SchoolDistrict:Glen Ellyn School District 41Lincoln Elementary is Seeking a Mindfulness Club Sponsor (Group V)(2 Positions)Responsibilities:Sponsor and supervise Elementary Mindfulness Club.Plan and lead age-appropriate mindfulness, relaxation, and social-emotional learning activities.Teach students strategies for focus, self-regulation, and stress management.Facilitate calming routines such as breathing exercises, movement, and reflection.Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.Qualifications:Interest in supporting student social-emotional learning and well-being.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work with elementary-aged students in a calm and structured setting.Experience with mindfulness, counseling, or SEL practices preferred.Application Procedures: Any GEEA member interested in applying for this position should complete the internal application here.Employment Expectations:All District 41 employees are expected to maintain high standards in their school relationships, to demonstrate integrity and honesty, to be considerate and cooperative, and to maintain professional relationships with students, parents, staff members, and others.Teachers employed by the Board to teach in District 41 schools are subject to applicable state and federal laws and regulations, the policies and procedures of the Board of Education and the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the Teacher.
