Position Overview We are seeking a high-level Executive Sous Chef to support and help lead culinary operations across multiple concepts. This role works directly with the Executive Chef and leadership team to ensure execution, consistency, and team development across all kitchens. This is an ideal role for a strong Sous Chef ready to step into multi-unit leadership or an experienced Executive Sous Chef looking to grow into an Executive Chef position. What You’ll Do Lead and support day-to-day BOH operations across multiple restaurant concepts Ensure consistency in food quality, execution, and plating standards Train, develop, and hold BOH teams accountable to company standards Assist in inventory, ordering, and vendor management across locations Drive food cost control, waste reduction, and labor efficiency Support menu rollouts, recipe adherence, and seasonal changes Act as a culture leader, reinforcing standards and team accountability Step in as BOH leadership when Executive Chef is off or traveling What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years in a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef role with a track record of running high-volume, scratch kitchens and delivering consistent results during peak service A Sous Chef who confidently uses their voice to lead the kitchen, call tickets, control the pace of service, and communicate clearly with the FOH team. You understand that strong communication is what drives great service—not chaos You lead from the front. You’re visible on the line, hold standards high, and aren’t afraid to coach in the moment, correct mistakes, and develop your team daily Strong understanding of food cost, inventory systems (Craftable experience is a plus), ordering, waste management, and labor control. You don’t just cook—you understand the business behind the kitchen Passion for training and mentoring line cooks, prep cooks, and junior leaders. You build systems, not just shifts, and take pride in growing future Sous Chefs Consistent about cleanliness, organization, food safety, and execution. Setting the tone for the kitchen and not allowing standards to slip. Thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments and can maintain composure, make decisions quickly, and keep the team focused during high-stress services.
