The successful candidate will participate in the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of a secure Linux, Windows, and virtualization infrastructure supporting mission-critical national security systems. Working alongside a collaborative team of engineers, you will help ensure our server environment remains reliable, scalable, and compliant with DoD security requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, administer, and maintain Linux, Windows, and virtualized server environments.Build, configure, patch, troubleshoot, back up, and restore virtual machines using VMware vCenter and Dell Avamar.Deploy and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu server environments supporting mission applications.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Splunk, PowerShell, PuTTY, OpenSSL, Wireshark, and server/application logs.Implement and maintain DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance across server infrastructure.Support infrastructure reliability, security, and scalability through routine maintenance and system improvements.Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to support mission requirements and infrastructure modernization.Develop and maintain technical documentation and communicate system status, issues, and solutions effectively.
