This is a part-time seasonal position for summer. Perfect for high school or college students looking for summer work. We hire candidate 16+ years old.BENEFITS AS A SEASONAL GROUNDSKEEPER:Starting salary $16 per hour - may vary depending on experiencePart-Time 20-25 hours per weekCompany Perks ProgramFlexible scheduleOpportunities for returning work in future seasonsGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SEASONAL GROUNDSKEEPER:Primarily responsible for the daily upkeep of the grounds and appearance of the property; upkeep of community grounds and common areas, creating and maintaining curb appealManaging watering system to optimize turf conditionsEdging, blowing, mowing and snow blowingAssist in the maintenance of manufactured HomesPatrol community and physical site inspections while maintaining relationships with residentsPainting, general carpentry, light electrical and plumbing; unclogging drains, HVAC repair/replacement and minor roof repairsOther duties as assignedSKILLS REQUIRED FOR A SEASONAL GROUNDSKEEPER:Possess a valid driver's license.Be able to deal with conflict and handle in a professional and calm manner.Be able to bend over easily in order to repair main water lines and read metersBe able to read and understand documents including user instructions, policy manual, checklists, and rental leases or other legal forms.Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgroundsAbility to physically get out and make rounds through the communityAbility to operate landscaping machineryAbility to adapt to changing work conditionsMust posses basic carpentry and maintenance skillsBasic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word & ExcelA good knowledge of the park and surrounding areaFlexible and rotating schedule to include most weekends and summer holidaysRequires visual acuity and ability to hear to clearly communicate with managers, coworkers, guests and vendorsMust be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to reach with arms and handsMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Must have finger to hand dexterity to be able to grip, grasp items or equipmentSuccessfully complete background checkPM22 Requirements: PI052597d3347f-26289-31299618
