This role executes technical installations, configurations, patching, integrations, and application upgrade activities to ensure stable and efficient operations. They troubleshoot inquiries, perform root-cause analysis, automates technical processes, and maintains system integrations and performance. This role administers security controls, manages documentation, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with teams, stakeholders, and vendors to maintain reliable application environments. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and effective communication.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInstalls, configures, patches, and updates enterprise systems and components. Executes deployment packaging, release activities, and supports application upgrades, migrations, and cutovers (e.g. rollback planning, cross-team coordination).\nProvides routine and some complex technical support escalated from the Service Desk and escalates inquiries as needed. Conducts root cause analysis and drives long-term corrective actions through regular maintenance.\nMonitors system health (e.g. logs, performance metrics, capacity), identifies performance issues, and implements tuning adjustments to improve stability and efficiency. Escalates as needed.\nImplements and administers system-level security controls, access policies, and vulnerability remediation.\nMonitors and troubleshoots system integrations and APIs (e.g. REST endpoints, message queues) and resolves connectivity issues in collaboration with integration teams.\nDevelops and maintains automation scripts (e.g. Python) to streamline deployments, monitoring, and recurring maintenance tasks.\nSupports security operations activities (e.g. vulnerability remediation, identity/access validation).\nExecutes backup, restoration, and disaster-recovery tasks (e.g. validating scheduled back ups, performing restore tests, supporting business continuity exercises).\nMaintains robust technical documentation (e.g. operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, system diagrams, build documents, recovery procedures).\nSupports change management processes through documentation, risk assessment, and technical input. Performs post-deployment validation to ensure system stability.\nAssists with vendor coordination (e.g. license tracking, application of vendor remediations, validation of fixes) as needed.\nWorks under limited supervision with latitude for independent judgment; regularly completes assignments with little or no assistance.\nMentors junior staff.\nMaintains high level of adherence to cybersecurity principles, ethics practices, and company policies.\nRequired to complete occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines or address emergencies as needed. Participates in on-call rotation as required.\nPerforms other duties or special projects as required or assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.\nHolds relevant certifications required for the team’s need or directed by management.\nAbility to translate business requirements into data models and reports.\nProficiency in process modeling and workflow documentation.\nProficiency in business analysis methodologies (gap analysis, solution design).\nExperience with cloud environments (Active Directory, Azure, AWS).\nExperience designing, developing, or maintaining enterprise applications\nExperience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, coding).\nKnowledge of compliance requirements and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX).\nProficiency in Microsoft SQL for data analysis and reporting.\nProficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell).\nExperience with application upgrades, integrations, and optimization.\nFamiliarity with source control and familiarity with CI/CD workflow concepts.\nProficiency in ERP, HRIS, CRM systems and Agile/SDLC practices.\nFamiliarity with HTML/JavaScript to support troubleshooting.\nStrong collaboration and communication skills.\nKnowledge of ITIL 4 processes preferred.\nStrong project coordination skills.\nApplication Specific Requirements\nThe Technical Analyst may support multiple enterprise applications, or they may be assigned to a specific applications team.
