Sewing Operator

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sewing Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating sewing machines, constructing garments and textile products, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate sewing machines safely and efficientlySew and assemble garments or textile products according to company standards and production requirementsReview samples, product photos, and work instructions before production runsInspect materials and finished products for defects, seam quality, and overall workmanshipFollow supervisor instructions regarding product changes and sample constructionMaintain production goals and daily output expectationsCollaborate with team members and other departments as neededKeep work area clean, organized, and safePerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious sewing or textile production experience preferredExperience operating home or industrial sewing machinesAbility to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and qualityPositive attitude and ability to work well on a teamKnowledge of garment alterations and patterns is a plus Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 10 pounds as neededAbility to handle repetitive hand and arm movements throughout shift Apply today to be considered for this Sewing Operator position in Rochester, NY.
