As a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, we’ve rapidly grown to over 1,500 associates and are now fully operational in our 1.1million‑square‑foot factory.\nWe are currently looking for a Process Engineer for our new factory in Columbus, Ohio. This production technical engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization.\nResponsibilities Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes.\nIdentifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve.\nRecommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials.\nAnalyzes process‑related exceptions and technical issues that arise during production, responsible for timely handling and resolution of technical issues to ensure normal operation of production work.\nParticipates in and coordinates activities related to process, materials, equipment, and new product trials on the production line, including data collection, organization, and reporting.\nControls and improves workshop process indicators such as string repair rate, stacking repair rate, first‑pass yield, and hidden crack rate.\nLeads and establishes project work, promotes continuous improvement, and reduces costs while increasing efficiency.\nCoordinates the implementation of work among departments within the workshop, handles workshop‑related anomalies, and provides technical support to customers.\nLeads the analysis of non‑conforming products, proposes reasonable solutions, and provides timely feedback to relevant departments.\nSupervises the implementation of the solutions in subsequent production.\nOther tasks as assigned by the supervisor.\nQualifications Typically requires a bachelor's degree of engineering.\nTypically requires 0–2 years of related experience.\nStrong knowledge of production safety.\nKnowledge of lean production, production quality.\nHighly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.\nStrong learning agility, open‑minded and curious.\nStrong sense of ambition, self‑motivation and self‑discipline.\nAt Illuminate USA, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
