Low Voltage Service Technician- Columbus

As a Low Voltage Service Technician, you will:Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various cablin infrastructuresRun low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete wall and limited conduit workEnsure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulationsInstall cable support structures such as j-hoosk, cable racks, and innerductConduct tests to ensure newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.Troubleshoot issues with the cable network Job Requirements include:Corning Unicam termination experience or at a minimum, the ability to do fusion splicing and have good troubleshooting skills on fiberExperience in low voltage cabling, smart hands network replacement, telephony, CTV, and point-of-sale equipment is a plusAbility to consistently travel: regional travel within 2 to 4 hours radius is required daily and travel beyond 4 hours will be required occasionally and may require hotel staysTravel away from home may be necessary, typically not exceeding 1-2 weeks in durationIndustry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plusAbility to work in cramped spacesAbility to operate a boom or scissor lift and ability to work at heightsPosses basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportationMust have knowledge of cabling infrastructureExperience in conduit installation is a plusValid driver's license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years Job Schedule Availability Requirements:Duration and hours will vary: 0-4 hours some days and 10-14 hours others. Shifts can be in the early morning, nights, and weekends depending on days shifts could be 10-14 hours.
