Lead Data Engineer with Snowflake

Title: Lead Data Engineer – SnowflakeLocation: Miami FLFulltime role Role: · Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions (using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Matillion (or similar ELT/ETL tools) ). · Architecting new patterns within Snowflake, defining standards and reference architecture within Snowflake · Cloud Migration: Transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions. · Data Governance & Quality: Ensure high standards in data governance, security, and validation. · Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs. · Team Leadership: Lead or coach team members (particularly for Manager roles). Skills & Experience: · Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering. · Minimum 7+ years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions. · 2+ years managing a team in a data engineering capacity. · Must have 2+ years Snowflake architectural experience · Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (PowerShell). · Tools: Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, or similar ELT/ETL tools. · Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA
