Job Description:Mars Petcare- Cannery Supply Driver- Columbus, OHPay Rate: $22.20/hour and $2/hour shift premiumThis site manufactures petfood: Pedigree, Cesar, Nutro, Iams & ShebaShift Schedule:Shift: 2nd (Afternoon)Schedule: Monday- FridayHours: 3pm- 11:30pm (flexible pending business needs)Description of Role:The Cannery Supply Driver ensures the safe and efficient flow of materials within the manufacturing operation, including the timely movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to support production schedules and operational efficiency. This role works closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams.What are we looking for?Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educationExperience operating forkliftsProficiency in computer software, including MS Office and email communicationPhysical Requirements:Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hoursCapable of working in hot, cold and wet conditionsProficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.Preferred Qualifications:Technical degree or certificationsForklift or other equipment certificationPrior experience in food or regulated manufacturing environmentsBasic inventory or warehouse management system experienceWhat will be your key responsibilities?Safely transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between production and storage areas.Ensure accurate loading, unloading, and documentation of materials.Support production schedules by delivering materials on time and in the correct quantities.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety and quality proceduresAny ad hoc requestsTotal RewardsStarting Pay: $22.20/hourShift Premium: $2/hourAnnual Bonus and Merit Increases Benefits Starting Day One:Medical, Vision, and Dental Up to 6% 401(k) match Vacation time Tuition reimbursement Short/Long-Term Disability 18 weeks parental leave Relocation will not be offered.
