The work load will typically be estimated for 7 hours of make ready and production; leaving an hour for cleanup and maintenance. Also responsible for the quality of the products produced and are expected to meet the quality standards for each job.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.\n\nBe primarily responsible for efficiently operating narrow web Flexo converting equipment up to 6 colors; this includes cleaning and maintaining the equipment.\nSet up and make the press ready to include loading of paper, installation of dies, inking, mounting plates and any other adjustments necessary for complete change over.\nCheck jobs prior to putting on press as to position of printing, ink color, copy stock, plates, dies, print cylinders, etc.\nInspect furnished raw materials for quality and accuracy.\nInspect finished stocks for quality and accuracy.\nPackage products in a professional manor.\nUnload trucks and receive goods coming in from suppliers using forklift or pallet jack.\nPOSITION TYPE/REQUIRED HOURS OF WORK:\n\nEx: This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. No travel is required for this position. This position requires the employee to work on-site at the facility they are assigned to.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nRequired: (Indicate education/experience requirements that are job-related & consistent with business needs.)\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAt least one year industry experience.\nAbility to learn new equipment and procedures as required\nCommitment to excellence and high standards\nVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm\nAcute attention to detail; Safety Minded/Orientated\nPHYSICAL: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\n\nAbility to lift, carry, and load up to 80 pounds\nWORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
