Assist in work schedules, evaluate and supervise improvements in remedial well work and completions.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nSupervises lease operations in relief of Production Foreman; recommends enhancement of production operations. Must be familiar with a wide variety of production applications.\n\nSupervises at the direction of the Foreman on‑site field operations of the Company’s operated properties, including 1) daily production and 2) operation and maintenance of production facilities.\n\nIdentify opportunities for improvement in production, in cost efficiencies and/or in problem areas (e.g., lift optimization, electrical problems, chemical usage) and act on them within the Assistant Foreman’s authority limits.\n\nMaintain compliance in conjunction with the Foreman and the EHS Department for all regulatory, environmental, and safety issues, and work closely with Production Engineers and other technical personnel to optimize operations.\n\nReview, process, and approve invoices within the assigned area of responsibility, subject to limitations of authority.\n\nPossess basic computer skills and assist where needed in preparation of computer‑generated reports and correspondence.\n\nScout – basic knowledge to track Production, LOE, LLI (BPF goals); identify transaction details for improper invoice charges and ensure appropriate corrections are made.\n\nAssist the Foreman that all Welltest, Well Status, Water Injection, TOW entry, Timesheets, Vehicle Expense Reports, etc., are accurate and submitted on time.\n\nPossess strong leadership, supervisory, and teaching abilities.\n\nStrive to ensure all production quotas are met with minimal cost in a timely manner.\n\nBehavioral Characteristics\n\nCapable of working effectively and willingly within a team environment.\n\nExcellent time management skills.\n\nAbility to learn new skills.\n\nShare knowledge.\n\nGood written and oral communication skills.\n\nMulti‑task – willing and able to work on several projects simultaneously.\n\nSafety\n\nGood safety and driving record.\n\nGood knowledge of safe oil and gas operations and procedures in mature secondary and tertiary recovery fields.\n\nOverall support and implementation of a safety program that leads by example.\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\n3 to 5 years related experience.\n\nCore Competencies\n\nCommunication: Writes, speaks, and presents information effectively and persuasively across communication settings.\n\nResults: Pursues work with energy, drive, and results orientation to positively impact business success.\n\nCollaboration: Works in partnership with others and encourages different perspectives, while building and maintaining trust.\n\nCulture: Willingness and ability to align one’s behavior with company needs, priorities, and goals.\n\nServant Leadership: Inspires and enables performance excellence through feedback, empathy, development, and empowerment.\n\nStrategic Mindset: Applies business acumen to see the big picture, understand business issues, and exhibit financial stewardship.\n\nChange Leadership: Inspires change by challenging the status quo, generating support, and executing improvement projects to achieve business outcomes.\n\nLeading Effective Teams: Enables performance excellence through effective structure, delegation, and motivation.\n\nTo provide genuine equal opportunity to all people, it is the policy of the company and its subsidiaries to base all employment‑related decisions and actions exclusively on employment‑related criteria.
