$1,500 sign‑on bonus.Essential Job Responsibilities and DutiesGreet and register new plasma donors into the donor management computer systemConduct screening procedures, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and arm checksPerform finger sticks to test donors for hematocrit and total protein testing utilizing screening equipment; monitor the electronic donor questionnaire systemDetermine donor eligibility by performing donor eligibility assessments, such as medical history interview, physical examination, educating donor on donor testing, HIV/AIDS virus, donation risks, informed consent, confidential self‑exclusion, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) testing as necessaryProvide counseling to donors regarding unacceptable test resultsInitiate and assist in donor investigations regarding post‑donation informationEvaluate and attend to donor adverse events during the donation processFollow all standard operating procedures for all medical emergencies, including communication with the Center Medical Director and donor transport to emergency medical care facilitiesCommunicate and seek direction from the Center Medical Director and Center Management as necessaryLearn and maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, SOP manual, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, and internal company proceduresMaintain thorough knowledge of applicable company and departmental policies and procedures and willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the futureMaintain an open line of communication with managementMaintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with donors, fellow employees, and vendorsAccept performance feedback in a professional mannerAttend regularly and arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetingsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum one (1) year of work experience preferredActively licensed or certified in the state where performing duties: EMT (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, or Paramedic), LPN, LVN, RN, NP, PACPR certification requiredRequirementsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to read and interpret directions and instructionsPerform basic math calculationsBasic computer skillsReasoning ability to identify, interpret, and apply appropriate informationAA/M/F/D/V.
