The analyst will be responsible for gathering, synthesizing, and interpreting data from a wide variety of sources to assist in locating missing individuals and identifying patterns or trends related to missing persons incidents. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\r\nCollect, review, and analyze data from law enforcement databases, public records, social media platforms, and other open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools to support active missing persons investigations.\r\nDevelop and maintain detailed case files, analytical reports, and intelligence products to assist investigators and law enforcement partners.\r\nIdentify patterns, trends, and associations across multiple missing persons cases to support investigative leads and resource prioritization.\r\nCollaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, as well as non-governmental organizations, to share intelligence and coordinate investigative efforts.\r\nUtilize geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping tools to analyze location-based data relevant to missing persons cases.\r\nMonitor and analyze tips, leads, and incoming case information, ensuring timely dissemination to appropriate personnel.\r\nPrepare clear and concise written and verbal briefings, summaries, and analytical products for law enforcement personnel and agency leadership.\r\nSupport the development and maintenance of databases and tracking systems related to missing persons cases.\r\nAssist in identifying connections between missing persons cases and potential criminal activity, including human trafficking, exploitation, or other offenses.\r\nMaintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies regarding sensitive case information.\r\nParticipate in case review meetings, task force operations, and interagency coordination efforts as required.\r\nStay current on emerging analytical methodologies, tools, and best practices in the missing persons and law enforcement intelligence fields.\r\nEducation and Experience:\r\nBachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Forensic Science, Social Sciences, or a related field from an accredited college or university.\r\n3+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, law enforcement support, investigative research, or a closely related field.\r\nExperience working with law enforcement databases such as NCIC, NIBRS, or similar systems.\r\nDemonstrated experience producing written analytical products, reports, or intelligence summaries.\r\nRequired Skills and Competencies:\r\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of data from multiple sources into actionable intelligence.\r\nProficiency in open-source intelligence (OSINT) research methods and tools.\r\nExperience with law enforcement records management systems and national missing persons databases.\r\nExceptional written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\r\nFamiliarity with geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping software for location-based analysis.\r\nAbility to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.\r\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all analytical work products.\r\nAbility to work collaboratively within interagency and cross-functional team environments.\r\nDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential, and emotionally difficult case material with professionalism and discretion.\r\nAbility to obtain and maintain a required security or public trust clearance.\r\nDesired Skills and Competencies:\r\nExperience working within a federal, state, or local law enforcement intelligence environment.\r\nFamiliarity with human trafficking indicators, victim identification methodologies, and related investigative frameworks.\r\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Palantir, i2 Analyst's Notebook, or similar platforms.\r\nKnowledge of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) resources and reporting protocols.\r\nCertified Law Enforcement Analyst (CLEA) or similar professional intelligence certification.\r\nExperience supporting task force operations or multi-agency investigative teams.\r\nFamiliarity with social media monitoring and digital forensics as they relate to missing persons investigations.\r\nWorking knowledge of trauma-informed approaches when interfacing with families of missing individuals.\r\nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:\r\nThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
