This position will be working with premium quality durum, wheat, safflower, barley, Bermuda grass, and Sudan grass. Must be willing to be crossed-trained and move to other areas when needed.\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSafely and efficiently handle, lift, mix, bag and load and move various raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment manually utilizing hand tools, using hoists, and/or power equipment as needed.\nSafely follow bagging procedures. (packing bags on loading equipment, sewing equipment pallets)\nAssist in the regular maintenance associated with cleaning warehouse, equipment, pit areas and personal work/station areas.\nAccurately placing storing products in accordance with company standards and government regulated specifications.\nDemonstrate knowledge pertaining to the diverse products carried; maintaining a safe and clean working environment and equipment while adhering to OSHA-FEDERAL, state, local, and industry safety regulations.\nWrap and package product for shipment or delivery.\nCommitment to excellence and high quality work ethic standards.\nSupport and assist in inventory tracking and maintenance.\nUnload/load trucks utilizing required equipment.\nPick/Pack order. Place product of bags (up to 50 lbs) on pallets to prepare for storage/shipping.\nReceive/Stow product.\nFeed or place items onto equipment for processing.\nAccurately follow instructions from supervisors and management.\nRemove product and machine attachments.\nAdhere to all company rules and policies as laid out by employee orientation and handbook.\nWork with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.\nAttend various trainings, clean other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
