Join one of the top Heavy-Vehicles and Engine Manufacturing Company as Control Engineer to be a part of End-to-end engine controls development.Position: Control Engineer – Engine Control SoftwareLocation: Mossville/Chillicothe (Peoria), IllinoisDuration: 02 years of contract with possible extensionRole: We are looking for Engine Control Software Engineer specifically Calibration of engine control systems in simulation and on-engine.Contribution: End-to-end engine controls experience:As a member of the Large Engine Controls team, you will contribute across the full lifecycle of engine control systems—from researching new algorithms to supporting long-standing products already in the field.Technical impact: You will apply feedback controls knowledge for dynamic systems to design, calibrate, and validate advanced controllers that push engine performance limits.Hands-on exposure: Located in the engine labs, you will have access to real engine hardware, providing valuable hands-on experience.Growth and collaboration: You will be part of a large, global, people-focused team with deep engine controls expertise, creating strong opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow your career.Typical tasks:Control systems calibration in simulation and on-engineAnalyze and present engine dataTop skills:Feedback control of dynamic systemsControl systems design and analysis using MATLAB/SimulinkProblem solving through root cause analysisEducation and experience: Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 01+ years of experience (Relevant academic experience will count).
