Senior Electrical Engineer

Role DescriptionLUSEO is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of building projects. This role involves leading design efforts, coordinating with clients and project teams, and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the successful execution of projects from concept through construction.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 7+ years of experience in electrical design for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. This individual is organized, collaborative, and comfortable coordinating with multidisciplinary teams while supporting project delivery from design through construction.ResponsibilitiesTechnical and Project Support: Perform engineering design and calculations.Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Ensure quality control and risk management processes are followed throughout project lifecycle.Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including A&E firms, contractors, and developers, ensuring project requirements are met and fostering strong client relationships.Documentation and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of technical documents, reports, and drawings, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.Construction Administration: Conduct site visits to assess project progress, support construction administration, and resolve any technical issues on-site.QualificationsProfessional Engineering (PE) License required7+ years of experience in the design of Electrical systemsExperience working with architects, contractors, owners, and developersBenefitsHealth insurancePaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.401(k) with company matching contributions.Progressive hybrid work optionsCareer growth opportunities within the company and industryTravel opportunitiesCompany DescriptionLUSEO Engineering is a Florida-based engineering firm, part of the international LUSEO Group.
