This position seeks an experienced Onboarding Coordinator to manage and administer the company's employee onboarding program, ensuring a smooth transition for new talent into the organization.\r\nResponsibilities Manage, coordinate, and administer new employee onboarding program.\r\nSchedule and conduct new hire orientation and training.\r\nMaintain communication with new employees through onboarding, training, and placement to ensure new employees are supported and welcomed to the team.\r\nCoordinate, track, and report on training progress (e.g., 40-hour training program, RBT certification exams).\r\nGather all employment paperwork, information, and required certification before the start date (I-9, background checks, credentialing, training and certifications).\r\nPrepare onboarding kits and set up new hire accounts and schedules in the practice management system.\r\nSubmit, track, and troubleshoot credentialing applications for MD Medicaid providers.\r\nAct as a liaison to employees and collaborate with internal teams on training, certification, employment paperwork, and credentialing progress.\r\nMonitor new hire turnover and retention rates.\r\nDevelop and maintain relationships with new employees to identify opportunities, answer questions, ensure a smooth transition and help a distributed workforce remain connected.\r\nGather candidate experience feedback from new hires.\r\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\r\nCompetencies Planning/Organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently.\r\nCustomer Orientation: Demonstrates concern for satisfying one's customers and resolves problems quickly.\r\nQuality: Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and seeks ways to improve performance.\r\nAdaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment and works well under stress.\r\nJudgment & Critical Thinking: Exhibits sound judgment and proactive anticipation of issues.\r\nTeamwork & Interpersonal Relationships: Builds healthy relationships, listens without interrupting, promotes win-win solutions.\r\nCommunication: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively.\r\nResults Orientation & Delegation: Focuses on completing tasks on time and delegates responsibilities effectively.\r\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.\r\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.\r\nAbility to create and implement onboarding strategies; proactive and independent.\r\nExcellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.\r\nFamiliarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring.\r\nProficiency with applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.\r\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\r\nMaintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations.\r\nKnowledge of the behavioral health industry and terms is a plus.\r\nEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.\r\n3–5 years of experience in an HR role managing all phases of the hiring process highly preferred.\r\nWork Environment & Physical Conditions Fast-paced workplace; 40 hours per week; daily in-office work (telecommuting not available).
