About Optimal AIOptimal AI builds Context Operating Systems — the infrastructure that makes every employee in an organization AI-first. We interview teams, document every process, and build a structured context library that AI agents reference when working alongside their people. We create MCP access for agents into core systems of record. The result: role-scoped agents loaded with the company's SOPs, templates, and institutional knowledge that get smarter over time. The RoleWe are hiring Context Engineers to help us build, deploy, and maintain Context Operating Systems for our clients — and to develop the custom skills and tooling that power them. We work with clients to architect a bespoke, living system of their processes, standards, and knowledge that ties into the systems they already use. We are creating the infrastructure for all future business automation. In this role you will:Work directly with clients to capture processes, SOPs, and institutional knowledge into structured context filesBuild custom MCPs for client systems and build systems of measurement and observabilityBuild and maintain custom skills for AI agents (Claude, Cursor, and others) tailored to specific client roles and workflowsDeploy and iterate on Context Operating System infrastructure across client engagementsWrite, test, and refine prompts, system instructions, and agent configurationsHelp identify automation opportunities and hand off to workflow development where applicableMaintain documentation quality and version control across client context librariesWho You AreYou have some exposure to AI tools, prompt engineering, or workflow automation — whether professionally or on your own timeYou write clearly and precisely. Context engineering is a writing job as much as a technical oneYou are process-minded.
