Cloud Architect Lead II (Wiz + Azure)

Pay Rate: $90 - $95/hour on W2 (Without Benefits)Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Potential Extension)Location: Allentown, PA (1-2 Days Onsite / Week)Ideal Candidate:A hands-on Cloud Security Architect/Engineer with deep expertise in Wiz, Azure Security, Automation, CSPM, and Cloud Infrastructure Security, capable of driving both architecture and implementation efforts.Key Requirements:Wiz experience is mandatory.Strong Azure Cloud Security expertise.Experience with Azure automation/scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.)10+ years of cloud cybersecurity experience.Hands-on cloud security engineering and architecture.Responsibilities:Design and implement secure cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP.Develop and support Wiz-driven cloud automation.Manage and optimize CSPM, Container Security, IAM, and Cloud Security controls.Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks.Lead cloud incident response and remediation efforts.Partner with DevOps teams to secure CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Review cloud environments, identify security gaps, and implement mitigation strategies.Technical Skills:Azure security services (Entra ID/Azure AD, VMs, Networking, NSGs, Firewalls, Functions, VNETs, VPNs, ExpressRoute)Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Intune, Identity & Access ManagementKubernetes, Containers, Serverless technologiesCI/CD security and DevOps practicesPowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar automation toolsPreferred Skills:Python, .NET, or JavaAzure security testing experienceAzure certifications such as AZ-500 and AZ-104
