The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with stained glass and enjoys teaching, guiding, and supporting students in a welcoming studio environment.\nThis role requires a solid understanding of the stained glass process (soldering and fusion), tools, and terminology, as well as the ability to clearly demonstrate techniques and support students of varying skill levels.\nRole and Responsibilities Lead and instruct glass classes, workshops, and one-time experiences\nDemonstrate stained glass techniques including cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing.\nGuide students through projects while ensuring safety and proper tool usage\nPrepare the studio before classes and assist with light cleanup after classes\nCommunicate supply needs and class feedback to Studio Owner\nCreate a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment\nAble to troubleshoot basic project issues and adapt instruction to different learning styles\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience working with stained glass is required\nComfortable teaching or guiding groups in a creative setting\nStrong communication skills and a patient, supportive teaching style\nAbility to manage time, stay organized, and lead a class independently\nReliable, proactive, and able to work without direct supervision\nSchedule: Part-Time\n3-4 hour shifts; Friday pm and Saturday am availability preferred\nScheduled studio access outside of teaching hours (based on availability).
