DescriptionTurf Valley resort is looking for Part-Time/Full Time Groundskeepers.Duties and Responsibilities:DIVERSE RANGE OF GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIESKnowledgeable of tools, methods and materials used in golf course, grounds, and landscape maintenance and construction.Ability to safely operate trucks and motorized equipment.Ability to follow written and oral directions.GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE MowingGreens and teesFairways and bunkersRough and intermediate roughs twice a weekCollecting mowing clippings and disposing them appropriatelyRaking all sand trapsRotary and weedeating work as assigned.Filling divots with special mix on tees and fairways weeklyCup changing for greens, practice greens and chipping greens.Changing ballwashers and towels every Friday.Checking course signage materialTraining and cross training on all equipment by Management SAFETY Never put the safety of guests, employees, or yourself at riskUse all safety guards on all power operated equipment.Use safety glasses when appropriate.ADHERE TO TURF VALLEY RESORT & STATE LAWS Adhere to Smoking LawsAdhere to Sexual Harassment PolicyAdhere to Alcohol & Drug PoliciesPhysical Demands:Lifting up to 50 lbs.Continuous walking and bendingReaching at arm's length and above the shoulderJob is performed outside in warm and cold temperature conditions Education and Work Experience:Experience preferred, however, will train if necessary
