Pharmacy Packing Technician-PRN

Neil Medical Group, a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy located in Mooresville, NC, is growing and looking to expand our technician team. We proudly serve Senior Living facilities across North and South Carolina, and we’re seeking focused, motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position Details: Job Type: PRN Status Schedule: Rotating shifts; guaranteed every third weekend Expected Hours: Average 10 or less hours per week Responsibilities: Maintain workstation and pharmacy shelves in a clean, neat and orderly fashion. Prepare compounds in an aseptic process. May Prepare IV medications in an aseptic process. Properly package and dispense medications according to specific facility requirements with storage requirements and expirations dates. Maintain daily reorder medication lists and appropriate stock par levels. Prepare unit-dose medications on Euclid machine. Place stock on shelves and communicate stock problems to appropriate personnel. Inventory stock levels of medications in dispensing area and monitor for expiration dates. Clean workstation at end of day, remove trash and turn off all equipment at work. Assist couriers in “scanning” medications in delivery totes and ensure all medication are accounted for. Prepare workstations / medication areas for quarterly inventory sessions. Perform quarterly inventory set by pharmacy. File daily/weekly paperwork. Ensure compliance with all company procedures, federal/state laws, rules and regulations. Increasing knowledge and understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses. Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction. Perform other tasks assigned while working in a fast paced environment. Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hours including weekends. Requirements: Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, team-based environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must pass background check and drug screening.
