Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA)

CNA Opportunity At Emerald Nursing & Rehabilitation CenterEmerald Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who are committed to providing the very best and safest care to our patients/residents. This CNA will partner with a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to assist in providing the very best and safest quality of care.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:Prepare residents for meals and assist with meal service, transport residents to and from dining room, assist with feeding when necessary, and accurately document residents' intake immediately after consumptionServe nourishments and between-meal-snacks to residents as ordered and distribute ice and water, rotating water pitchers and deliver pitchers to the Dietary Department for sanitation.Ambulate residents, assist residents in and out of chairs and wheelchairs, position bedridden residents according to plan of care, and utilize appropriate support devicesProvide personal care to patients/residents, including bathing (bed, shower, tub, whirlpool) shampooing, combing hair, oral care, personal hygiene, shaving, nail care, and dressingMake occupied and unoccupied beds and turn down beds for residentsProvide skin care keep residents on turn schedule and use lotions and massages as neededAnswer call lights and answer questions and respond, giving appropriate care or alerting SupervisorTreat residents with dignity and always observe all residents' rights and confidentialityAttend mandatory in-services and maintain certificationStraighten residents' rooms and closets and clean inside of bedside tablesRemove soiled linen, rinse in the hopper and transport dirty linens to laundryCNA Qualifications:MUST be at least 18 years of ageMUST be certified in the state where applying or have successfully completed CNA training from a state-approved school and obtain certification within the first four (4) months of employmentCompletion of high school education or otherwise show ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directionsMust be able to work weekends and overtime as requiredMust meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment exam if requiredBenefit Enrollment Opportunities:Major Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance401KVolunteer Term Life and AD&D InsuranceShort Term & Long Term Disability InsuranceJob Type: Part-time and PRNBring your Passion, your Purpose to our team atEmerald Nursing and Rehabilitation Center!!
